Essential oil diffuser necklace | Aromatherapy on the go!

I am always looking for multipurpose fashion and accessories, and when I came across this diffuser necklace I knew I had to have it! Lately I have been on a path to minimalism in my own way. with minimalism comes simplifying your life in more ways than just decluttering. I have gotten rid of 97% of my jewelry and only kept the pieces that I love, but I had to add this piece! It functions as a beautiful necklace, and aromatherapy on the go! Not to mention a great conversation starter.

I am a amateur in the world of essential oils and learning more about their amazing properties. There are many health benefits to aromatherapy that people may not know of, so I am here to share! (Essential oils are amazing and potent. This is not medical advice, and they should not replace your primary doctor. Please do your own research and use caution!)

Benefits of Aromatherapy include:
Reducing anxiety
Boosting energy
Reducing pain
Helps you sleep
Increase circulation
Improve digestion
Reduce or eliminate headaches
and many many more!

Now onto the necklace. I purchased this necklace on Ebay from this seller. There are so many options on Ebay and here on Amazon. The Amazon option has a few more pads included but the price is a bit higher

The necklace is a locket with a strong henge and strong magnetic closing. It is made of surgical steal so that it's hypoallergenic and won't tarnish, turn your neck green, or fade with the oils! The chain is sturdy but the clasp is sort of weak so i plan to replace it with a bigger one. Included with the necklace were three felt discs to put the oil on, colors are pink, white, and black. The inserts are a bit cheap so I plan to purchase these leather replacement pads
for longer use.

In my necklace. I will review this oil on another post! All in all I love and highly recommend purchasing a diffuser necklace! go and grab yours!

This post was not sponsored by any of the mentioned brands. these opinions are 100% my own and i used my own money to purchase everything mentioned!

I've been a blogger for around 8 years now.  Before starting LabellaIman I had a private blog of my ramblings and random thoughts. Over the last few years however, my passion for blogging faded, as well as my passion for fashion! Don't get me wrong, I still love to dress up and look beautiful, and I still get googly-eyed at editorials, and I still love to shop! Just not enough to write about it all of the time. I think the problem was, there is so much more to me but I never knew how to express it, or what exactly to express.

Now that my priorities have shifted, and I have acquired new hobbies and interests. I still love to sew, I love herbalism and natural medicine, and am now studying them.  I am delving into minimalism slowly but surely, I am a wife, a mom, and most importantly a Muslimah trying to acquire more knowledge about my religion. I would love to write and share with you all the journey that I am on, in hopes that you will share with me yours! So I would like to start Labellaiman from scratch, and maybe even change the name? I am no longer the young lady who started this blog, and now as I get more comfortable in my Womanhood, I am ready to let her go.

Will you join me?

What I've been up to...

As Salamualaikum/ Hello!

Wow... has it been a year? Wow. I'm not even sure anyone still reads this blog, but I hope I haven't lost you all!  It wasn't my intention to push my blog to the side, but life happens!

Since I last blogged about my hiatus a lot has happened. for starters, I am no longer focusing on solely fashion, and I would like to transition to a lifestyle blog. The whole Fashion blogger thing honestly just isn't ME anymore. My life has evolved in many ways, and I'm wearing many hats now. When I started LabellaIman I was a single 20 year old with virtually no responsibilities. Now at 25 I'm wearing a few more hats, and have a few more responsibilities on my plate. I grew up -- I'm growing up, and I'm loving it!

Oh, and before I forget... THIS also happened...

Yep! 7 1/2 Months Alhumdulilah! My Husband and I are expecting our first baby Boy at the end of October Insha'Allah.

Other than struggling through the symptoms of pregnancy, I have been great Alhumdulilah and I hope you all have been as well! I hope to start publishing more content, and I just wanted to let you all know that I am officially out of hibernation lol.

P.S. The blog is under construction, so if you happen to stop by and see crazy html. and distorted images, you know why!

Love you lots!

Conversation on my hiatus...(es)

I'm sure as you've all noticed, I've been on another one of my hiatuses. In the past I haven't explained them as they were all for different reasons, but now I realize that I owe my readers an explanation.

Firstly let me start by apologizing. I've gotten e-mails of concern and of disappointment that I took my blog down. It is never my intention to worry anyone, but sometimes in life you have to do what you have to do.  I needed a mental break. Truth is: I haven't been feeling very good about myself lately. And I'm sure you all know when you don't feel good about yourself, you don't feel good about anything. Sometimes things unravel all at the very same time! nothing seems right, or as right as you'd want them to be. You know when the battles between the soul and the nafs (ego), between right and wrong, good and bad, all seem to creep up on you with no warning, and throws off your entire zen? It's sort of like that. But instead of running from them I faced them -and am facing them- head on, and it is both exhausting and liberating all at once. In short: I've been in a funk, and I'm trying to dig myself out of it. I hope that makes sense?

All that aside, I want to express that although I may be going through a personal rough patch, I am and will always be grateful for the things that are wrong and right. Even hardships are are a blessings -slash- lessons in disguise, and keeping that in mind is helping me bounce back. I'm craving something richer... I want to dig deeper into life and make it about something, dive more into my faith and really grasp it with love and understanding, I want to treat my body more kindly and see what it can really do, and put my creativity to tests that I could only imagine. I am a pretty impulsive person, diving head first into everything with little thought,  but as my dear husband keeps reminding me "baby steps." Noahs arc wasn't built in a day, it was built over hundreds of years of hard work, dedication, faith, and baby steps. So... Baby steps it is! All I have to do is show up and take the steps to change my condition, and Allah (God) will do the rest of the work!

"Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." Qur'an [13:11]

So my lovely readers old and new,  my hiatus is not permanent. I'm taking my sweet ol' time getting to know myself better, and my needs, so that I can put my best effort into everything that I do! I'm starting over, blog included! and I would love if you all continued to ride out this journey with me.

If you find yourself between a rock and a hard place,  please (sorry, girls only!) LabellaImanFashion@gmail.com
know that no situation or condition is permanent. It will change! everything good won't stay good forever, and everything bad won't stay bad forever. That's life, and if you're not growing or evolving, you're dead (In the heart, or literally). My Email is always open if you need someone to listen

If there is anything you would like to see from me in regards to this blog,  please don't hesitate to let me know! I am always looking for new ideas and inspiration.

I Love you guys!
